Privacy Policy

Privacy at a glance

Altercode uses the information needed to run its store, provide accounts and product access, process purchases, and support customers. This policy explains what information may be collected when you browse the site, create an account, make a purchase, or contact us.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Altercode, we may collect your name, email address, account credentials, licensed domain details, purchase and license records, messages sent to support, and information you provide during an installation request.

We may also receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser details, device information, and activity required to maintain security, prevent fraud, and keep the service working.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, process and confirm purchases, issue and validate licenses, deliver downloads and updates, respond to support requests, and protect the store against misuse or fraud.

We may also use your contact information for essential transactional messages, such as account verification, purchase confirmations, password resets, and important changes to products or this policy.

When information is shared

Altercode shares information only when needed to provide the service, including with payment providers selected during checkout, hosting or infrastructure providers, and service providers that help us operate customer support or deliver email. Those providers may process information only for the services they provide to Altercode.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect the safety, security, and integrity of Altercode and its users.

Cookies and similar technology

Altercode uses essential cookies and similar storage to keep sessions secure, remember account state, and support core store functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the store or account area from working properly.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the personal information associated with your account, request corrections, or request deletion where applicable. Some information must be retained for legitimate business, security, legal, or record-keeping reasons. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal obligations change. The current version will always be posted on this page with its latest update date. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@altercode.net.
